Our Town is the full length recording from Blake Thomas & Mary Fox that accompanied the 2011 Yellow Tree Theatre production of Thornton Wilder’s classic american play of the same name.

Most of these songs are traditional American folk songs. Many are taken from the New Lost City Ramblers song book, published in 1964, a collection of transcriptions of early 20th century recordings. The few exceptions to this are: Let the Spirit Descend (a song that may have been written by J.M. Purdom), Mighty Mississippi (words by K. Harrell), Everything I Know (words and music by Blake Thomas).

This album was recorded, mixed & mastered by Blake Thomas & Mary Fox. Additional clapping by Rosie Palan & Perry Senjem.
